About Vertex
Vertex Bladeworks was born out of the passion I have for the process of creation. Ever since I was little, I enjoyed building things with my hands and absolutely loved watching YouTube videos about woodworking, forging, knifemaking, and jewelry. Upon moving to United States almost a decade ago to a house with a garage, which I turned into my workshop, I was able to explore my passion further. Knifemaking spoke to my soul the most because it combined two elements that I appreciate: aesthetics and function. Aesthetics by itself can feel shallow, while function by itself can feel lifeless. My vision is to combine these elements to make knives that perform well but also invoke a deeper appreciation for fine craftsmanship. My sincerest hope is that the knives and videos I make can be an inspiration for you to discover yourself and your passion further, whether that be cooking, crafting, or something else entirely, the way that others have inspired me into knifemaking.
