Made from AEB-L Stainless Steel. I used african blackwood for the ferrule and amboyna burl for the mainhandle part with a decorative brass spacer. This is the first time I worked with amboyna but it will definitely be a staple moving forward!

The grind offers a balance between cutting performance and food release.

AEB-L is a stainless steel with a great balance of hardness, toughness, and corossion resistance. It is very easy to sharpen and maintain. If you are going to be using your knife a lot and don’t want to baby it around this is the right steel for you!
